LECTURE PHASE
To Know God

OUTREACH PHASE
To Make Him Known
- 8 – 10 weeks cross cultural outreach
- Where the real adventure begins – putting it into practice
- Bringing hope to communities through mercy ministry and community development projects
- Using your passion and interest to bring the Good News
- Opportunity to discover your giftings and calling
- Exercising your faith and making an eternal impact
Hear from a variety of speakers who live out what they teach. Classes are interactive, challenging, focusing on real-life application. Topics include: Hearing God’s Voice, Identity, Relationships, Character of God, Spiritual Warfare plus much more.
Regular times of worship and intercession every week. We love to spend time praising God and praying for the nations. Learning about the power of prayer, worship, and hearing God’s voice is an exciting journey.
An opportunity to discuss, ask questions and apply what you’re learning with a smaller group of students. Share what you’ve been learning, pray for one another and encourage one another in your journey.
During the lecture phase you will learn a number of practical ministry tools to help and equip you to encourage and reach out to those you meet during the lecture and outreach phase.
One-on-ones. Every week you will meet with one of the DTS staff to process what you are learning, ask questions and receive personal mentoring. Your one-on-one is there to help you and be a listening ear.
Each week we go into our local community to build friendships and share the love of Jesus. Occasionally the DTS may also be involved in church and youth ministry. It’s an opportunity to reach out to the people who need to hear.
This is what you’ve been waiting for! Your opportunity with a small team to put into practice all you’ve been learning and share the love of God with others. It’s a time when you’re taken out of your comfort zone and learn to trust God in new ways.
Eight weeks of experiencing God’s heart for the people you meet locally and internationally. It will be a cross-cultural experience – new foods, new sights to see and the adventure of exploring a culture different from your own.
Ministry will look different for each team, depending on your outreach location. Your outreach could involve: community development projects, reaching out to the poor and needy, sharing you faith with others, youth/kids ministry, encouraging new believers and more.
